health care providers. We carry large stocks of
electrically conductive rubber sections and tubing; TENS machines and electrodes for muscle
stimulation and pain relief; power boxes and a range of accessories and
attachments.
While we also supply conventional sticky pads, it
is our experience that these have a limited life of maybe a dozen or so
uses, before they have to be discarded and more purchased.
On the other hand, electrically conductive rubber
never wears out, even after many years of careful usage. Being relatively
soft and stretchy, it conforms easily to the various body shapes to which
it is connected.
Whilst the initial cost of conductive rubber is
higher than that of sticky pads, it is only a matter of a short time
before the cost benefits of conductive rubber become apparent. |
